Heek Tea at Gardena, Gardena, California.

I honestly don’t know why this place is so different from the Rowland Heights location (which has a pretty solid rating) I stopped by on opening day only to be told that they wouldn’t be ready until 3PM. Please keep in mind that the doors were completely open and the sign clearly stated they would be open around 12PM. I understand that this was more of a soft opening, but other potential customers were driven away. I heard from a neighbor that she passed by that day and was made to wait a good 15 minutes for standard iced tea, despite being the only customer in the store. My friend and I stopped by a few days later. Just about everything on the menu wasn’t available. We were essentially limited to fruit iced teas. The tea was good, but it just seemed a bit expensive ($5) for what was basically eight ounces; it only seemed like a larger portion because the cup was tall (though quite slender) The employers seemed okay. The interior decoration is quite nice. There’s a cute little yellow bike inside. All in all I don’t recommend this location. Again, the Rowland Heights one is good.
